What animals can we see during the marine safari?
During the trip, we set out in search of orcas, whales, mobula rays, sea lions, dolphins, sharks, turtles, and other marine species that live in or pass through La Ventana Bay. Every outing is different and depends on the season.
Are orca sightings guaranteed?
No. Orcas and other species are wild, so we cannot guarantee a specific sighting. The crew adapts the route to make the most of the day’s conditions and marine activity.
How long is the tour?
The experience lasts approximately 7.5 hours, departing around 7:00 a.m. and returning at approximately 2:30 p.m. for the standard option or 5:00 p.m. for the extended option. Times may vary slightly.
Where does the tour begin?
The tour departs from La Ventana, Baja California Sur. Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive the exact meeting-point location and the directions you need to get there.
How many people join each departure?
We travel in small groups of 2 to 8 passengers, allowing us to offer a more comfortable and flexible experience throughout the trip.
Can we snorkel during the tour?
Yes. Snorkeling and other in-water wildlife activities may be possible when sea conditions, wildlife presence, and safety criteria allow. These activities can vary on every outing.
What should I bring?
We recommend bringing a swimsuit, towel, sun protection, a cap or hat, sunglasses, and comfortable clothing. A light jacket is also a good idea, especially during the early morning hours.
